This is the first post of the site, rendered by a hand-rolled engine — one file, no dependencies, no frameworks.
What works already
- A Markdown subset: bold, italic,
inline code - Links and a shared page template
- Front matter: the title and date above are metadata the engine reads
What comes next
Articles, photos, and short 480p camcorder clips. Videos will live in Cloudflare's object storage, R2, and be embedded with a plain <video> tag once we deploy.
Everything on this site is a plain file in a git repository — portable by construction.
